Marc Guéhi

This England defender has continued to excel for Crystal Palace this season a previous transfer to Anfield collapsing. With his deal due to run out in the close season, this represents the club's last chance to secure a transfer fee for their skipper. Numerous elite clubs, such as City and multiple European giants like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, reportedly be interested. Villa were initially linked as a potential suitor, but that move now appears off. Instead, clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are reportedly showing interest in the 33-year-old.

The prolific English centre-forward has kept finding the net frequently in the Middle East. Coming back to the Premier League could boost his fading chances of making the national squad. The highly-touted Netherlands midfielder has drawn comparisons to a Belgian superstar for his style of play. After starring at the Under-19 European Championship, Smit has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar side. The teenager is widely tipped to make a big-money move in January.
